The best fish and chips in Bristol. Was seriously put off cod and chips after a few greasy ones at other fish bars, George and his friendly staff have restored my faith. I won't go anywhere else.

Best fish & chips in the area!!! Been coming to this takeaway for 5 years and never a bad meal. Staff are always friendly and happy and nothing is too much trouble. Excellent

I have been frequenting George's fish bar for the last few months now on a Friday lunchtime as they do a great OAP lunch special, I have been getting 2 specials each Friday for some elderly relatives who are struggling to cook and dont really get out.
They really look forward to there fish, chips & mushy peas on a Friday. Sometimes I will also have something for lunch. The fish is always fresh, flaky white while the chips are always cooked to perfection.
I can happy give George's Fish Bar a 5 star review.
