Never thought I'd find myself going to the effort of writing a bad review about a pharmacy, but these establishments are there to assist in make people's health and well-being better AND deal with vulnerable, I'll and emotional people as part of that and this pharmacy is the WORST with dealing with these circumstances on all levels so I genuinely feel it would be bad of me NOT to based on my experiences with them.
With both members of our household on regular (and in one case life saving) medication I initially thought it was pretty convenient to find this pharmacy very local to my new home. We have now been using them for over 6 months (which I think is a fair chance when were in there a minimum of once a month and often up to three times!) and I don't think we've had a single prescription issued correctly or on time - despite signing up for their repeat prescription service and now even runphoning ahead before going to collect our meds. I have even run out of meds over Xmas because of their incompetence.
Until this experience I genuinely didn't think there was such a thing as a good or bad pharmacy, just busy and not so busy, but this one seems genuinely unable to perform its purpose.
One of the worst things about them is when you tell them what's wrong, rather than just apologising and sorting it, it's always someone elses fault (yours or your doctor's). Thing is, I've been me all my life (30+ years) and had the same doctor for 5 years and before using Well I can only recall one problem with a prescription ever - and in the instance the pharmacy just contacted my doctor to sort it rather than apportioning blame.
In this area there are also a Lloyd's and a pharmacy at Morissons (just off the top of my head) so I'll be trying out those from here on.
