Great service, asked for a drink that wasn't on the menu and they were happy to make it! They have a couple of friendly pub dogs (not ideal for those scared of dogs).

Best roast dinner we've had since we can't remember when. Great meal, good price and A+ on presentation. Staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely go again.

Hired the venue for a private function and paid for catering from the pub also. The buffet food was way over priced, the portion sizes were tiny, some of the foods differed from what was written on the buffet menu provided to us and one of our options was forgotten and came out much later than the rest of the food after being prompted by me.
There was no follow up from the pub either to ask if we'd enjoyed their facility, were happy with the service, could offer any feedback etc.
On the plus side, there was no hire fee and the food was very nice, there just wasn't enough of it!

Friendly staff, spacious and airy pub with plenty of smaller nooks and crannies to melt into. Decent food and a huge outside BBQ bar with a variety of outside seating areas and a small playground for the kids.
