Since becoming east street tap this pub has become a good deal uglier. The decor is rather unpleasant now and the bar is malodorous. I cannot comment on the food, not having eaten here, but I am impressed with the selection of beer. The toilets are rank and lacked toilet paper on my visit. Nice staff.

Great choice of beer, burgers and good music. Staff all very friendly. Men's loos need a bit of work though.

Very chilled place, modern with a live DJ playing punk/indie music although I just been told they do have rap nights. They tend to play it by ear. The bar has a long history in Brighton it was established in 1974. The red lighting and rustic feel of the bricks work really well together bringing a modern feel. The bar does have a student air to it. There an interesting choice of ales here which you wouldn't find elsewhere. I really like it here

Had an evening here and really enjoyed the atmosphere; really friendly staff, good music and great beer. It was our second visit as we remembered it from the last time we visited Brighton. We'll happily return again.

Does 'Burger kult' offer the best burgers in Brighton? When considering the competition with the likes of 'Burger Bros.' it's certainly up there. What goes in their favour is the fantastic range and incredible quality also their chips are delicious on their own. The range of beer is great as well as the staff. Even though the beer is quite pricey the location and range makes up for it! A Brighton must!
