i would put easily put 4 stars if, only if, every single time i go , which its pretty often, i would not have to deal with such an unpleasant reception. I do not understand that after all the reviews talking about it, so many people complaining about it around me, why nothing is done to change the attitude of the reception. Please do give them a customers training. Because everytime i come in order to relax, i have to be talken with rudness first!!

A very nice indoor sport complex, 4 swimming pools for various activities and a gym upstairs.

A super rude receptionist snapped at me on the telephone when enquiring when the pool would be reopened. I politely mentioned that there isn't a notice on the website letting people know that the pool is even closed, it just has the regular time table and no mention of it being closed due to maintenance. She then promptly jumped down my throat and snapped that it is on the website as she clearly saw it on there this morning... I'm not sure what website she's looking at but there is absolutely zero mention of it and i'm sure plenty of people like myself have turned up/called up to find out the pool is still not open.
Every time I've been to the centre I've been greeted by incompetent reception staff and noticed a ton of inattentive RAs. As someone who worked at an award winning freedom leisure branch as a receptionist for three years it really disheartens me to have to write this review and see this branch letting down the rest of the company which I've always known to be very conscientious.

Extremely rude and unpleasant reception staff. I see this is often mentioned in reviews so why has nothing been done? Gives the place a bad feel and puts people off going. Give them some customer service training please! Attitude adjustment sorely required.

Depending on the day the cleanliness of changing room floors etc. The showers are ok, the pool is at times laned to allow lap swimming easier the pool sometimes seems cleaner than others and the slide has been closed last few times we been. They do have events and activities for the kids randomly but never really advertised and just happen upon them. Luckily the kids go free with their cards.
