The most amazing veggie burger I have ever had! It's a bit pricey for me as a student, but when my girlfriend's parents come to visit, we always like to eat here.

Fantastic pub! Great atmosphere, seriously tasty food and lovely staff. Relaxed, casual and a place you'll definitely want to return to!

Terrible service. For the first two minutes standing at the bar there was no bar staff. Took ten minutes to get served. They don't take cards for under £5 (in this day and age!). My friend's order to barman was interrupted by another barman who was too important to wait for the order to finish. When we eventually sat at a table they didn't bother to clean the filthy tabletop (even when they came over and looked at it). Very poor! Pity as it used to be a good local.

Good traditional pubs are hard to come by especially that serve A+ food wth a friendly attitude. Top marks for hospitality and atmosphere.. favourite family pub for sure
