An experience outside the norm for this area as the service, selection and quality of food and presentation was far higher than any . Superior to any so called restaurants in vicinity, high class and very welcoming. Will definitely return and recommend. 5*.

This was probably the worst restaurant experience I have had for some time. The service was appalling despite the restaurant being virtually empty. Meals were late, cold when they arrived and the vegetarian options were a half hearted attempt at decent food. I would not go here again.

What a shame!!! Shame!!!
Crackling Name, Great place, with fantastic character. But no investment in the staff. One young-and must say not trained but brave girl, on her own trying to sort out 3-4 tables while the"chef" was out shopping???
Breakfast was ruined. With a name like this I would expect to have great local sourced sausages and not what was in my plate.
I read afterwards reviews and most shared the same experience -poor service.
But is the owners not having any investment made to the Staff what was clear that day.
My kids loved the pancakes but I pay the bills and the experience was bad. Might return if I read consistent good reviews.
