Cheap food and drinks of good quality, however, staff provide and extremely poor service and couldn't look more unhappy to be there. They rarely smile, don't say thank you and look like they can't be bothered being there. Was told I couldn't have he cocktail I wanted because they didn't have a particular ingredient so opted for another cocktail which I was told I also couldn't have because they were missing a different ingredient so I chose a different cocktail which the woman said I also couldn't have due to the missing ingredient. Poor, unorganised service.

Our was a strange experience. Elaine and I called in on the off chance and ordered 2 gammon steaks. I was told at the time of ordering that I would have a half hour wait. Fair enough. Elaine and I chatted for just over an hour, realised what time it was and we still hadn't been served. I went back to the ordering point. I was told that the 'roll' had come to an end and that's why our order was missed. They would now resolve the situation. Whilst we waited a young woman named Sinead came over, said it was her fault and apologised. We appreciated her honesty and her acceptance of responsibility. We were offered a free sweet to make up for the delay. I have to say that the meal was fine. Our server was Shawna. She was very pleasant and asked us to select a sweet when she cleared our played. It was the end of a very hot day, the hottest day of the year. I fancied an ice cream sundae only to be told that they didn't have any ice cream. We made our selections and that was fine. At the end of our meal Sinead again apologised. She was brilliant in her customer service.
When we left we should have felt disappointed at the long wait, over an hour to be served but we didn't. Sinead's customer service turned a poor situation around. She is the perfect person to have working front of house. Thanks Sinead. It was a memorable experience.

It's just a chain pub, but it's better than the usual ones you get. Food is pretty good, and reasonably priced, staff are friendly.
I like to pop in with the kids every few of weeks and they always have colours and paper for them.

The food was good pub food that was served quickly. The staff were helpful. Very quiet for a Sunday night.
