A warm welcome back to the UK. In have been living outside of the UK for 3 years and have decided to love back recently. This place is the ideal example of good quality English food. Luckily I have moved a stones throw away and this will now be my new local.

Friendly local.pub with a good selection of food available. Normally 4 to 6 real ales on cask.and they are well kept. Food is good. The staff are very friendly and if there are ant issues they get them sorted quickly. Has a beer garden at the back but it's in Bolton' so it's only usable for 3 days a year when not raining. Good pun for food. Good for beer. Can recommend

Great lunch, good beer, generous portions and kid friendly in the afternoon. Would recommend. Cheese & onion pie was especially good.

Fantastic place. Ian behind the bar is an excellent host and makes everyone feel welcome. Great atmosphere!!!
