I would not say it is value for money if, as i have seen, the price of a room has reached £60/£65 plus. It was a business stay for me and i found it adequately served such a purpose. Parking is free though spaces can be scarce as the car park is shared by a restaurant (peachy keens, which is dreadful).
The staff at the hotel reception desk are very helpful and rooms are basic but clean. Check in is at 3pm which is a little late, though early check in can be acquired by paying an additional £10. The price of rooms can vary substantially and it can be very exorbitant for what it is. I certainly would not pay upwards of £60 for such a basic room. At a reasonable price it is worth it but as prices vary day by day it is worth checking different days, flexibility permitting. Wi-Fi, as with everything else, can be acquired for a small fee. Breakfast in a box was bland and not worth the money so I won't be buying that again.

The room itself was sufficient for our needs. The service we received from Mags was 5 star. She's a gem.

Awful place ..room was dirty, blood on the Duvet's and old lumpy beds. This travel lodge is being used to house homeless and is more like a hostel. woke up to shouting and arguing in the corridor we did not feel safe here at all. Staff are very lovely and friendly the only positive to this place, left with full refund.
