Really great staff did their up most to accommodate me and some friends at start of july as we booked late and arrived late. Highly recommended. Thank you to the man at reception with an English accent can't remember his name but absolute gent. Really chill hostel with breakfast which is nice and also free.

For a hostel, this place has a lot going for it. Breakfast is great (made to order!), They have a communal dinner option reach night, and free tea and coffee all the time. The bathrooms are really nice and have multiple sinks and individual shower stalls. The water in the shower gets hot. A few cons: However, the beds and pillows are saggy and the water pressure is pretty low. The shower want clean when I went in, so I had to clean it before use. The price is fairly high for a hostel. The internet constantly disconnected during my stay, and want reliable They have a great common area and a mandatory quiet time.

Location: a little dodgy, but not unsafe. Close to a university so expect a lot of students about. 15-20 minute walk to the city center. Rooms: Small and old. There were also some random stains, but perfectly adequate for a hostel. The shared bathroom was great, it was obviously upgraded. It was clean and modern. Free breakfast was better than most hostels, the cook you a full English, or whatever you request. They also have a hot dinner nightly for only £3.

Lagan is a good example of how a hostel should be.
Cheap meals, good facilities and the chance to buy some drinks (from an off licence, not an expensive pub attached) and make some friends.
The staff were all amazing and Sarah (the manager) will win a place in your heart.

Lagan Backpackers hostel was wonderful. The free breakfast was fantastic and the staff was super helpful. I really like the cinema room. Overall very cool place to stay in Belfast.
