Sour beer, may have been a one-off, excessive road noise in the beer garden and no food available at 14:00 despite the sign saying food served 12:00-15:00 a shame... for a better experience try the Wheatsheaf in Combe Hay or Wheelwrights in Monkton Combe...

This pub can be found at the end of the Two Tunnel walk from Bath to Midford. We decided to settle here after the first stretch, especially as they were showing the Wimbledon final. Despite the relatively nice weather, this little spot was rather quiet today which allowed for a peaceful atmosphere. We both fancied pie, mine being feta, goats cheese and roasted veg and his steak and ale. Absolutely beautiful with all the trimmings and the staff were very relaxed and polite to top it off. They allowed us to start a tab, so we could order without the hassel of getting our wallets out everytime. Good beer selection on tap and our pints of coke were cold and bubbling. Combining the incredible views of Midford and Fedderer's easy Wimbledon win, a wonderful spot for Sunday lunch.

Good beer. Quiet place for a chat. Good food. Can be a little expensive.
OveralI I like this place very much, as the staff are receptive, helpful and friendly. Make all the difference.
Recently my kids were really hungry and the kitchen was closed, they helped me out with chips and cheesy pasta, saved the day.
