It has been a month since I started at Body Development and I can feel a difference already and I am delighted!
One of the best things is that changing my lifestyle to fit in going to the gym has not been as hard as I thought (the hard part was starting!) and by scheduling exercise into my week I have more energy, am sleeping better and feel more positive.
I had a body scan during my first week which is a really comprehensive report on my body composition and have had a couple since, which show that fat loss is dropping and muscle mass is increasing, so it is going in the right direction, slowly but steadily. Both Karen and Tom have helped me to understand the report and made recommendations based on the results.
The nutrition assessment and plan has been so helpful, and just incorporating some basic changes into my eating habits has helped.
I have really enjoyed the Full Body Weight classes, and although they are early (6.30am!) they are over by 7.15am and I am home, showered and ready to start my day by 8am. I did try the FIT class – that was fun too!
The classes are small, focused and friendly, and I may not be the fittest and it is early days, but I have been made to feel so welcome by the staff and the other members and I look forward to going. It is also really easy to book the classes online (and once booked I feel more committed to going!) and love getting the FB updates from BD with nutrition and exercise tips and the interaction with the other members.
So one month in and I feel good - thank you!
