Giving 1* because the staff are lovely and friendly.
The food however is disgusting. I ordered a chicken fillet supper and battered jumbo sausage.
The chicken fillets were greasy and batter was soggy. The chips were rock solid.
The battered jumbo sausage was so overdone that it that it was completely inedible.
Really dissapointed, don't waste your money. Everything is reheated and very little made fresh, with my sausage what they did was take it out of the heated cabinet at the front and they RE-FRIED it.
I hate giving bad reviews but I'm being honest, if you like decent fish&chips totally avoid.

I don't know what folks are going on about saying the staff are not friendly, the staff are ace. Reckon the folks complaining are just local jakebags that have got barred for being total jakebags.
You won't find a better chicken pie or friendlier staff than at this chipper.

Not the best chippy. Chips taste stale fish over cooked and staff not that friendly. Would give it 3 out of 10.
