The staff overall are extremely nice at this hostel. with the exception of one younger girl by the name of Roksi. She was extremely arrogant and treated me with absolute contempt because of my Scottish accent. I was routinely ignored, mocked and regularly called a retard behind my back. She even made the audacious claim that she spoke better English than me.
After a few days, I found that I could not tolerate her nonsense anymore and decided that I had had enough and raised a complaint with the management team. The managers only response was to remove me from the premises after having reluctantly agreeing to a refund following an hour of intense arguing. Unacceptable.
Admittedly I'm still incredibly bitter about this episode as I genuinely believe myself to be a a friendly person, an extrovert who attempts to socialize and get on with everybody. If you are an American or Canadian then you will be treated like royalty, however if you have an accent that she or the other staff are unfamiliar with then you are a "retard" in their eyes, a second class citizen, a reprobate and worthy of no respect whatsoever. She can say what she wants however I won't apologize for being Scottish and I will certainly not apologize for not being North American.

This hostel was absolutely amazing! If anyone from management or ownership of this hostel is reading this, please know that Irysja Chaykovska and Natalia were one of the most wonderful people. They helped us when we arrived several hours earlier before check-in time. Irysja was even so nice as to show my friend and I around the city, including taking us to High Castle, showing us her favorite coffee shop in Lviv, and then helping us find our way to the railway station so that we could find our bus to Warsaw, Poland. Whenever I return to Lviv, I will be staying at this hostel, and I highly recommend this location for anyone who may be interested. Thank you Hollywood Home Hostel!

Nice hostel with perfect location and friendly staff. Unfortunately only 2 bathrooms/ toilets for all guests.
