New summer season opened in Kyiv and this place tries to position itself as an exclusive beach club...but the location leaves a lot to be desired. Once inside the guarded fence, they made an effort to live up to expectations. Large pool surrounded by trendy lounge chairs, umbrellas, beach volleyball courts, grass area and restaurant/lounge area under a huge marquise. Entrance fee for pool usage outrageous. Music at the right decibels and wonderful view of the river, boats crossing and the city center on the opposite side. Good menu choice but the quality of food does not match the price. The friendly and English speaking staff was a plus. Rather an expensive outing even by European standards. I will give it another try though.
