good location near the entrance and available parking space for self driving people, the backward is the room. They do not have all kind of facilities.

Good location, a few mins walk to terraces entrance, but breakfast gave me food poisoning so wasted a whole day in the hotel room. Otherwise, staff was nice letting me check out at 3pm. The rooms were pretty clean and comfortable. Garden restaurant area is nice

Strategically located at the center of Pamukkale, this hotel is one of the best we had so far in Turkey considering the price they charged.
There is a mart right next to it, and plenty of atm machines outside of the hotel.
The hotel owner is very welcoming and friendly too. They speak good English !!!

This hotel locked me out a few days ago and an employee (Omer) accosted me. I checked-in to Ozbay really late at around 11PM and left for food at midnight. I even told both the owner and Omer--found out his name at the police station later that morning--that I was going out.
When I returned about 2 hours, I was locked out. I knocked then banged on the door to wake someone up. I was getting pretty upset and thought I might not get back in. It was also quite cold outside and was starting to drizzle.
After banging for a few minutes, an old lady (owner's mother) came out to open the door for me along with Omer right behind her. Omer was upset that I woke him up with all the loud banging so he started shouting at me. I shouted back at him. Omer demanded that I leave the hotel shouting, "It's MY place, NOT yours!" I told him, "I'm a guest here. I should have IN and OUT privileges. You should not have locked the door."
He threatened me and said, "Do you want to die?" I said, "Yeah, I want to die. What are you gonna do?" The owner had woken up at this point and was observing this altercation between Omer and me. The owner and his mother was holding Omer back from attacking me as I was going to my room to get my things.
I got my big, heavy backpack on, left my room and saw that Omer had a stick in his hand in the lobby as he continued to shout at me. I stood my ground trying not to show fear. Again, the old lady and the owner was trying to hold Omer back from attacking me with the stick.
I walked away and was OUTSIDE the hotel and Omer keeps yelling at me. I shouted back as I was walking away and he hits me in the head with the stick. I couldn't block the blow fast enough with my heavy backpack on me. I remembered falling back really hard. I got up, took off my backpack and wanted to fight but he had the stick in hand so I decided to just walk away.
I was on the street walking away and Omer threw the stick at me. The police later showed me the video of the stick being thrown at me. Omer also threw a glass bottle at me. I heard the glass break near my feet. I was already outside on the street walking quite far away and he was still attacking me.
I realized in the morning that my head was bleeding. It was on my white T-shirt and on the pillowcase. So I showered and went to the police. Policeman didn't speak English so he calls for two other police officers. They didn't speak English as well. Can you imagine trying to explain the assault on mobile with Google Translate!
They brought the owner into the station. The owner told the story. The police showed the video. The owner apologized on Omer's behalf. The owner said he fired Omer that night. The police asked what I wanted to do. I wanted to press charges but didn't know Turkish or know how long the process would take.
I was traveling around Turkey and was only in Pamukkale for the day. I really wanted to report the assault so Omer doesn't think he can attack another foreigner and get away with it again, but it's so complicated. It's a shame. So helpless.
The owner was nice enough to offer me a ride with his car to the top of the Roman ruins. I feel bad for giving the hotel 1 star based on another person's action (Omer) because the hotel is REALLY nice for the price, cleanliness, location.
I was at the Roman ruins and thought to myself that Omer might be the owner's younger brother. I cannot imagine a regular employee shouting and assaulting a guest all because a guest was upset for being locked out and banging on the door to get back in. A regular employee would usually let the owner or boss handle the situation but Omer took the situation into his own hands with no fear of being reprimanded or fired. His actions seemed like he was a family member but I could be wrong.
I do hope Omer was fired but if Omer is a family member, then I don't know... Trying to think positive. Lastly, I suppose if you don't go out late like me during low season then you should be fine at this hotel. Also, double check if Omer still works there.
