The Konya Archeological Museum is FULL of amazing artifacts! They display a small amount of extremely early civilization artifacts from Catalhuyuk as well as the Selcuk dynasty. My only disappointment was they displayed very little Christian history from 60AD-800AD. There are two stone pieces which are displayed outside which were discovered in Kilistra and Derbe.

Most important items are in Ankara Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, that includes the items found in Çatalhöyük excavations. But still they have unique items, like a very special 3000 years old board game called 58 holes. Next to the museum is a mosque from 13th century, a must see. Most refugees are living here, beware in the night.
