Spacious rooms but hotel is looking its age. A bit far out from Silom but they provide shuttle service to/from Montien Bangkok affiliate hotel at scheduled times throughout the day. Also stopping at Surasak BTS along the way.

OLDER HOTEL ON THE RIVERSIDE WITH SOME GOOD VIEWS
The Montien retains some of that local Thai charm and hospitality that seems to be missing in most internatioanl chain hotels in Bangkok these days.
Large older style rooms, good service and not expensive

Well established with friendly staff. It is a little bit out of town and that makes it quiet on the river, very good value and some specialty restaurants. I would worry about being out of town as most this are handy and just a taxi ride away.

We were greeted at the door who also helped with the luggage. Then we were served a nice refreshing drink while checking in and then told we got upgraded to an Executive Suite. The bell boy gave excellent service taking baggage to the room and explaining how to use their system. Highly recommended!

REASONABLE PRICE. ROOM VERY COMFORTABLE, FOOD VERY GOOD. FREE BREAKFAST BUFFET IS EXCELLENT. ALL STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY, COURTEOUS, HELPFUL AND SPEAK ENGLISH. NICE QUITE, BEAUTIFUL VIEW LOCATION. HUGE ROOM. HUGE BATHROOM. SHUTTLE TRANSPORTATION IS VERY HELPFUL.
