Location is convenient however their service has dropped compare to the previous time i came. Especially housekeeping should be more careful with the topup of amenity (shampoo doesnt work well and face towel was torn). This stay is just average for me.

Upon reaching, Taipei, I saw the hotel logo on the MRT map. Without hesitating, me and my wife walked to the hotel, only to be told that we were in the wrong branch.
The receptionist, Rae, assured us that it was quite frequent people mistaken the wrong branch as they have a few branches in Taipei.
She offered us a seat, even though there were others in the queue waiting for her attention. After she completed her tasks, she went to the extend of calling the branch to confirm that we have the correct reservation, went to the road side on a hot and sunny day to hail a taxi for us and personally told us how much to expect for the taxi ride and instruct the taxi driver, the route of correct location of our hotel.
Upon reaching the hotel, the staff were already expecting us and gave us a very personal warm welcome, which we felt so deeply touched. Whilst waiting for the rooms to be ready, we were offered access to the waiting area, where coffee, tidbits and internet were available free of charge without any encumbrances.
Our two nights in and out of the hotels were always greeted by names, how we spent our day and if there were anything they could assist. I noticed that all the staff in the reception will make an effort stand up and greet everyone, with their sincere smiling faces, a small unnoticed gesture by most, but makes a difference between a good hotel and an excellent hotel.
Great big hotels can have the best facilities in the world, but they can never beat the human touch, sincerity and care and concern of this hotel.

Second time staying here. The rooms and common areas are decked in chic decor. Room is cosy and comfortable. Service is top notch!

Great service and attentive staff.
Absolutely love the warmth and sincere hellos and questions by the staff every morning and whenever we come back to the hotel. They bother to remember u and where u have went on the day.
They would go the extra mile to help you answer any questions you have. And even assure u to ask for anything u will need even in the middle of the night.
Clean rooms but the smallest room will be a little tad too small. Sound proofing and insulation is not that good. Will be able to hear doors close and esp bad if u stay in front of the lift.
However City inn Would be my choice when I m back in Taipei next time.
