The dinner course is perfect. It may be seem to be expensive when you first see the menu, but after I ate through the course, I found out that it was the best course dish i had in my life. Every single dishes taste wonderful and have meanings!! Perfect place to go with your most valuable people, parents, gf bf...

Nous avions réservé une table pour l'anniversaire de mon amie .
Mon amie a téléphonée pour dire que nous arriverons à 20h 30 au lieu de 20 heures.
Arrivée à 20h 45 le gérant du restaurant, nous accueil à l'entrée et nous dit malheureusement la cuisine est déjà fermée...
Quelle surprise!!! Une cuisine fermée à 20h45 un jeudi .
Sûrement que ce restaurant marche très bien pour refuser des gens à 20h 45,et que ce monsieur n'a pas besoin d'argent.
En bref, un restaurant à bannir!!!
Il y'a tellement mieux à découvrir à Lucerne.

Four of us dined here on Sept. 24, 2015. We went to our dinner early and were well received at Weiderkehr’s, a Michelin-rated restaurant that seats only 18 diners. Our coats were checked by a gentleman who also took drink orders. Various appetizers were artistic delicacies. The simple menu offered five courses. We made some good choices. Our California friends went with fillet of sole with mushrooms, sugar peas and tomatoes. Words don’t describe the taste and presentation of Weiderkehr’s efforts. Our waitress, Sandra, explained special features and made the evening even more special. Her sense of humor added to the night’s pleasure.
For an appetizer, I enjoyed a trio of duck liver, all three being supremely tasty pâtés. The pâtés were served with toast. My wife, Gretchen, also had the duck trio, plus pork belly lentils and scallops for an extra appetizer. Gretchen and I chose venison as the main course. It came with parsley root, peach and brussels sprouts. While I had the more boring but nicely presented cheese plate for dessert, the others savored the chocolate cake, meling inside tonka bean ice. All raved.
Everything was perfect. The interior is charming and the staff shows evidence of good training. Chef Marcus took no bows on our night but his skill showed in everything that was served. The small establishment was full on our night, one long table hosting a group of 13.
Dan and I enjoyed excellent red wines. The gals sipped bubbly prosecco. Gretchen was the only one to order four courses. “It was too much,” she admitted while downing her dessert.
Our dinner for wife and me came to $219 (US money) and was well worth it for a memorable, unhurried evening with good friends. Gretchen and I thought this was the best dining experience of our lives. And that is some compliment!
