We had truly nice service and the staff are to be commended. The receptionist was understanding, the breakfast waiters very nice and the diner waiters gave us a bucket of iced water so we could chill our wine and glasses to complement them.
There were a few issues:
Room was very small, but we expected as much for Lucerne. There was very poor air flow and the room was extremely humid. We were not comfortable. There are no amenities in the room. No bucket, no ice, no bottle opener, no current adapter/usb port. We could have used AC and or a fan added to the above deficits.
Parking was a real problem. They had 6 passes for the garage which were unavailable when we arrived, even though we had written previously.
The garage by the hotel is a total rip-off at 65,5 CHF for 24h. Thankfully the receptionist was able to obtain us the parking card the next morning, "only" setting us back 30 CHF per 24h.
Otherwise, our included breakfast was superb. The coffee was divine. There were meats, cheese, croissants, juice, yogurt, milk and a few other things.
We got a free wifi card that worked great.
Overall our stay cost us 178 CHF per night, excluding parking. Everything was very clean. It was ok, it could be better, but people were nice and so was the owner. I would always recommend shopping around, but it seemed to be the norm in Lucerne.

This is a low grade hotel in Lucerne. Be careful. The lady owner, cheats you. Do not pay before looking at the rooms. Most of the rooms are 8 feet by 10 feet.

Doesn't even have a kettle in the room. Not available at all so you can't drink any tea or fake coffee. They don't have water either. What a dump.

Hotel no hot water for shower from 11pm~6am. The staff told me People in Europe is sleep on this time. I have stay in other hotel in Lucerne and take a shower after 12am is no this problem.
