A nice place to explore with kids. It's not as interactive as som of the newer museums (eg. Museum of Natural History in Zurich) but still time well spent. Audioguides available in 3 languages (DE, EN, FR) free of cost.

You should provide training to your personal in order to have them treating tourists properly, specially the cashier lady. She actually made me pay extra when I already had the unlimited train and museum ticket that covers the entrance for your museum. Her bad mood and impolite manner made me loose interest on the collections. There were quite a feel collections, but the descriptions were not even translated to the other three official languages or english.
In addition, you keep spreading misconceptions such as that modern humans had evolved from Neanderthal ancestors (like the models you showcase with blue eyes - completely inaccurate and self-centered). I felt ashamed to see pseudoscience being featured in a Natural History Museum.

Wonderful fossil collection - great for prehistory enthusiasts! Highlights included a soaring pterodactyl skeleton, dozens of ammonites, and a live leafcutter ant colony. Exhibit titles and accompanying text in German. Artful touches and authenticity give this small museum a captivating air.
