This was the second time that I stayed at Scandic Klarälven. The main reason to why I choose to stay there was because of its proximity to the event Tjurruset and also because of the nice breakfast at Scandic's hotels. I got a room with a view to the watee which was nice. I will probably try to stay there next year too.

Just the breakfast alone it's well worth the visit.
Fresh rooms and fair prizes. About ten minute walk to the centre of Karlstad. Lots of parking space (even though almost full from time to time). Kids corner.

Excellent service, good rooms, very children-friendly with playroom, swimming pool and big-screen breakfast room. Decent breakfast and easy to access location.
