Excellent! Two perfect stars Rafa and Ines! I'll be back as soon as possible to this piece of heaven.

Cozy place with great food, the menus are great if you like to discover new tastes, remember to book a table in advance and keep in mind that if you want to try the menus you can not order from the "À la carte". The menus are served full table. The desserts are to die for. Really nice service but a bit slow serving (which makes sense considering the detailed gourmet foods they prepare). Totally worth it.

I liked it
I didn't love it
It's hard to see how they got a Michelin star
Service is pleasant but patchy. (no English speakers) no food descriptions no wine descriptions. Few mistakes that were not lost in translation. But the all girl team brought loads of smiles
Food is well plated but two of five dishes we had were really lacking. The tasting menus are fish oriented but there are great meat options a la carte.
We were the first to sit at 21h00 and the simple room was bare. Terrible muziak playing to emphasise the emptiness. The room never really filled but many tables were turned away.
This is a good value "Michelin" experience though

We did not book the place so we could only have bar food. Service was really good, but not Michelin standard. Food was good too, but again, not Michelin standard in my opinion.

Amazing experience / experiencia única
The restaurant just moved to a new location. The food is still amazing, exploring the best local products and reinterpreting them in many new ways giving you the feeling of something traditional and totally new at the same time.
The uniqueness resides in the way the high end menu is served. You are in the kitchen, with the chef. All dinner long. You see him preparing the courses and explaining them to you with all his passion. A pure sharing exercise. Give and take. Where the chef really cares about your feedback. It is not about stars or not. It is about a genuine exchange between the chef and the guests.
We came back to Maruja Limon for the food, but tonight we left the restaurant knowing we will be there again as soon as possible because of the experience.
If you are around, you cannot miss Maruja Limon. 100 euros per head, including many glasses of different wines adapted to each of the 12 courses of the menu. Totally totally worth it. Beyond the food, you will leave the restaurant knowing you just experienced something special.
