They are swindlers. When we payed for rented car by euro debit card they took a payment in usd but on the terminal the amount was in euro. We had no idea that having euro debit card and see the amount in euro they will take the charge in usd. As a result we got double foreign currency translation and overpayed 30 euro (prime cost was 273 euro. After many claims by e-mails and contacting manager they left our inquiry without attention. Pls, when you get a payment and pay with a card draw your attention to a currency on a terminal and check an amount at once you make a payment!!!

It is now Sunday at 3:30 pm. They put a sign that they would be back in 20 minutes, but I am waiting for an hour and a half. I waste my time very much and they do not give me confidence.

No immediate service in garage when returning car.

Rude customer services. I returned the car and the customer services staff (Alex) told me the car was not clean and he wanted to charge me EUR 30. I said let me take the car to clean it and bring it back, he refused and started yelling at me, in a very aggressive way. I told him that I had returned the car 9 days earlier than I was supposed to and I changed my mind... I wanted to take the keys back. He called the police! The police came and finally gave me the keys back. I took the car to a carwash and brought it back. Alex was still very agitated and I don't know why. He wrote COCHE OK. Two days later Goldcar charged me EUR 30 nonetheless.
This is my second time dealing with GC and I had bad experiences in both situations. I will never use this company again. Most likely, I will get a reply to this post by GC saying that they are trying to improve their services, blah blah and no action will happen. I filed a complaint at their website, nothing happened either.

Car was fine, desk service was ok. Rented through rental cars, which always causes some resistance and upselling techniques. This is not why I'm giving GoldCar only a 2 star though. The 2 star rating is because they charge about 22 euro for the act of fueling (not the fuel) and there is no communication about fuel costs whatsoever. So 1/4 tank of fuel was suddenly 50 euros...
