Nice Hotel.
The rooms were clean and have a nice view to the ocean, city or pool area. Breakfast and dinner were always fine. Not the best, but we never left the dining room hungry.
The hotel is located on a higher place of the city, so you need to take a taxi or go about 10-20 min (depending on your conditions and way you take) by feet to get to the ocean. For excample we took about 25min by feet to get to Loro Parque and 35min to get back (upwards).
We can easily recomment this hotel :)

Went with my bf in september. The room was pretty decent and comfortable. The shower had really good water pressure. We had an ocean view room which had great views (3rd floor). The balcony was a decent size to relax on. Housekeeping were very efficient and friendly. The nudist pool was very quiet and private with its own pool and jacuzzi plus the best views from the hotel! Our biggest complaint was that the main pool closes at dark, and we're both evening swimmers so we didn't really swim much. The jacuzzi was also kept a bit colder than we like (30 to 33 degrees). Breakfast was okay but repetitive and all the tasty foods (aka bacon!) were very oily. Coffee was not good, but I think that's a problem in Tenerife as a whole. There wasn't a kettle in the room, and it wasn't possible to get one from reception. Wi-fi wasn't great. My bf doesn't drink and a diet pepsi was €2 at the bar which I thought was expensive. It was an okay hotel overall, but I'm not sure if it was worth what we paid. (We picked it because of the jacuzzis, and then couldn't use them when we wanted which was a big downside!)

Rooms are dated and need a good paint. Grounds are very nice aswell as the views. The food is awful so if you like your food i wouldn't recommend, everything is repated daily or things are over cooked or under cooked and I've never had green beans for breakfast. Staff are friendly as long as your tiping them.

Excellent Hotel, very nice employees, very clean rooms, best service, unbelievable pool!
Big bar with different shows every evening. The restaurant is ok but not the best in town. Again next time! Thank you very much!

We stayed in Puerto Palace first week of September. Generally the experience was not very bad. However there are couple of points I would like to share. We had a package deal from Chek24 portal (half pension with transfer to hotel and flights).
First the transfer to hotel was horrible. We where not been met with sign as promised, need to search for the bus and after we found it, we waited in the bus almost 2 hours for 2 other lost passengers, and all that in the middle of the night. We reached hotel at 3AM. So not the best start.
Second the hotel itself looked cool from outside, but is quite old from inside. I had the feeling that it got 4 stars in 90s and the rooms where never again renovated. Nevertheless it had quite nice swimming pool, which I never had a chance to use because of the weather.
And the most important point for me is the weather. Please check the weather before u book a hotel, because the weather in different parts of Tenerife is REALLY different. We where quite unlucky regarding that choice. The Puerto Palace is located in Puerto de la 'cloud'. The whole week we stayed there was only half day sunny, the rest of the time the sky was covered with thick grey clouds. We rented a car and where driving to the south everyday to enjoy the sun. You can see the pictures how the sky is changing during the drive.
And last point is that the hotel is located on the hill, quite far from the ocean. There is a quite nice beach in puerto de la cruz, but it's quite far from the hotel.
p.s. the food was not very good, but one could always find something to eat. And it had a nice bar with live music in the evenings.
