A beautiful Cathedral.

A lot of history even if some of the pieces are , at the moment, on display in other museums. The downside is that you are not allowed to take pictures.

Museum full of history and treasures. You can also look around hidden side of the cathedral and look down the plaza from its balcony. If you are a big fan of Santiago or a pilgrim, you must visit this place. Entrance fee is 6€ and for pilgrims/students 4€.

The museum provides excellent background information about the construction and history of the cathedral. It also showcases the cathedral's extensive collection of art, historical items, and liturgical objects. Pilgrims can get discounted tickets. If you do not speak Spanish make sure to pick up an audio guide as almost all explanations are available only in Spanish/Galician.
Once you finish the tour of the cathedral and museum, you can also proceed to another section of the cathedral museum, which tells the story of the ongoing restauration works. The entrance is on the other side of the Porta de la Gloria. Unfortunately, nearly all explanations are again only available in Spanish/Galician and no audio guide is available for this section. However, you can just use your ticket from the main museum for this section as well.
