Very expensive for what it was. The room was stifling .I asked please could someone look at the air con as I didn't think it was working. However I was told they didn't have air con in November as they classed it as winter .I explained how hot it was in there. They suggested opening the window. The noise was terrible. They did give me a fan. Which didn't really help. The layout of the bathroom was not only in my opinion dangerous, but goodness know if you were over weight it made it very difficult to get in and out of the shower. I have stayed in cheaper hotels with less stars that have been far superior. Really can't see how the Tryp hotel can say they are a 4 star hotel. The cost of parking your car in the hotel car park as rip off. Would I stay here again NO.

👎Budget hotel. There’s no bar, restaurant, room service. No teapot in the room(I remember there was a coffee machine at the reception at least 2 years ago). Need to have dinner outside.
👍Clean. You can walk to the Kurssal in only 10-15 minutes.

Hotel is well located, clean, efficient, good views, good staff, all was well but lacks amenities and open spaces

Although the place is in a nice area and room is very clean, they turned off the air conditioned too early in season. The room is so hot that you can't even have a nice sleep because when you open the windows, the noise from street is too loud.
Not recommended.

The location is perfect. Right across the street from the beach. However this certainly adds to the price. We were traveling all over Spain and this was the most expensive place and certainly not the nicest. It was also under some renovations so the main entrance was not usable and we had to enter through a side area that was a construction zone. There was no parking anywhere to unload our luggage before returning or rental car. But aside from that the rooms were nice, quite spacious and we could see the beach from our window and were an easy walk to everything we wanted to see. San Sebastian is the best City we visited, you are obviously paying for location at this pace.
