This hotel is a real find. My second visit and so pleased I returned. The staff were so kind and funny and attentive. The food is always plentiful and tasty with lots of choice. The place is clean and comfy and the pool is lovely with a great view to the sea. This hotel is set in a pretty residential area....tucked out of the way....for rest and relaxation. However, it's only a 10 minute stroll up into the small town.....and a short stroll further down to the amazing harbour where the rich hang out. If you're not rich .....you can hang out at a beautiful cove just down the hill from Hotel Costa Portals where the water is warm and duper clear. Go round the headland to visit Roxys Beach Bar.
The rooms are traditional and simple....they are supposed to be. I had a single room which I found perfectly adequate. The only thing I would say is that the bathroom was small and the shower area was also a bit tight. This didn't bother me.....but it might not be for everyone. Not sure what the double rooms are like. I love this hotel and this area of Mallorca....it's a beautiful place. It's also really easy to get to Palma on the bus in 30min.....and cheap as chips too. The staff make this hotel special.......thankyou to you all.... for your hard work and sense of fun and for caring about us....your customers. I will return, although I think you are already fully booked up for next September already. Great adult only hotel for relaxing and taking it easy.

The staff on reception are truly awful. The worst I have ever encountered. Unfriendly and unhelpful,, bordering on rude. The rooms are tired. The location is OK and the breakfast is great. Evening meals are like a school canteen. On the plus side the hotel is very clean. Do a lot of research before you go on where to go and what to do because the reception staff will not help you at all!

This hotel is an amazing place where to spend your vacation.
Lovely and friendly staff (Antonia,Tony,Gabriel,Karol,Mary) very professional and plenty of smiles.
The hotel is clean,fresh,with relaxing environment.
Nothing to disappoint.
Can't wait to come back there.

Good location, calm, beautiful common place (restaurant, pool, reception...). Room is good but not very well isolated. I could hear my neighbours speaking. And service very variable depending on the person. Some of them would barely responding to your question/request when others were very helpful and welcoming.
