There's a market here on Thursdays bit of a tourist trap, yea won't get me buying underpants and shirts here...oops to late. My advice take a walk up the hill in to the village well worth it, typical Spanish narrow streets, white washed houses, pretty little plazas and lots of little crafty gift shops.

Great place to visit. Lovely combination of historical interest, restaurants and shops.

The square itself is pretty uninteresting. Market once a week (Thursday from 08:00h to 14:00h, but don´t come too early). Several restaurants, some quite good. Underground parking.

Frigiliana host one a year the festival " Las Tres Culturas". Honor to the golden era, 500 years ago, when Jews, Muslim & Christians lived in harmony.
Beautiful setting of the original white village " Frigiliana" that won the first prize of being the most beautiful village in Spain.
End of August, every year, 4 days of food & dance, Tapas-Tour, mediaeval atmosphere,
love it!
