The best part about the hotel is its location. Hotel is also good rather like any other hotel of that caliber. The buffet breakfast is delicious. The staff is extremely helpful and sweet.

Beautiful historical building adapted to modern ages. Not all the rooms has windows with street view or panorama.
There are a lot of rooms with a view to an interior view, or to a luminator.
The rooms are clean with comfortable beds, clean bathrooms.
The hotel is close to the metro station such as Sol or Opera like 5 minutes walking.
It's very close to Gran Via shopping street or to Pallacio Real.
The breakfast it's ok, various and tasty with local or international dishes and it's a buffet.
At that time the only thing that it's not related to the hotel it's the metro because the line which connects the airport with the city (line 8) is under renovation.

My husband and I have just returned from our trip to Madrid and I would like to leave my feedback about the hotel we stayed in. In our opinion and from our experience ( we travel quite a lot) it is one of the best 4 star hotels ever! An absolutely perfect location! It is situated in a very quiet square and at a walking distance from a lot of main attractions of the city. Two metro stations are 3 minutes on foot , there are a lot of restaurants , small and big stores very close to the hotel, around the corner there is a huge department store that sells everything you would like to buy for yourselves or as gifts for those who are waiting for you at home, a great variety of toys as well. (We are grandparents, so it was important for us).
We lived in room 313, on the third floor, it was a big room overlooking the square, the view was very nice and it was absolutely quiet at night. Ask for such a room - floor 3 or 4 overlooking the square.
Breakfast was very good, the staff was perfect : very helpful, friendly and nice. Special thanks to Arturo, Antonio Martinez, Sandra, Antonio Carbajo, David and Jose. ( Sorry if I misspelled some names).
We didn't find any drawbacks in this hotel : only merits. I am strongly recommending it to everyone.
