Este restaurante en pleno barrio de Chueca, además de ser bonito y con un personal mucho más que amable, tiene una carta muy variada y, en general, con una gran calidad en los platos y una elaboración original. Absolutamente recomendable

Affordable and great tasting food - good portion sizes without being overfilling. The cocktails are great as well the service is slow (other than that I would give it 5 stars)... but that may be more a Spanish thing than being unique to this restaurant.

Stumbled on this gem while looking for a now closed restaurant. Diurno has ambiance, great and varied food, wonderful wine beer and cocktails, and the most welcoming and professional staff. This is one of my new favourite restaurants, anywhere. I am happy to recommend it, and will be sure to return on my next trip to Madrid.

Nice modern place, quieter than it's sister Mercado de Reine. Great for drinks (good selection of gins) and generous portions of delicious food. We shared 3 of the sharing plates/starters between 2 of us and it was more than enough especially with the bread basket (and hummus) provided.
Friendly staff, some speak English and those who don't were very patient with our minimal Spanish. Drinks are free poured at the table, an interesting touch...
Gets busy about 8.30pm but we arrived at 7.30pm and it was empty... so get there a bit before the locals!

A nice restaurant with a delicious selection of menu options. The starters we had where quite big for a starter, the main courses where not huge, so combined it was a great dinner. The service was okay, do make a reservation as we found that walk ins are not always possible as it's a busy location.
