5 star my ass. Maybe 2 and thats a polite opinion. Old building and you can really smell it. Beds and toilet from 18th century. Not for clients expecting modern style & class. No recommendations.

Super food, staff and atmosphere . Restaurant la terraza is fabulous. I ordered stake Wellington , Really Good. Thank you.

Great! Rooms with style, very friendly staff, good restaurant and a nice park area surrounding the hotel. The place to stay. Not cheap but worth every cent.

The staff were lovely. Is around 30mins away from the south of Gran Canaria where the tourist parts are. Due to the local surroundings the prices are cheaper in shops. The weather is mostly overcast compared to the 24/7 warmth of the south.

I've been to a five star hotel in my life and to be honest this one is not one even if they preach to be so bad to be honest I don't know why! Maybe even the hotel was constructed it was a five star hotel in those days. I think they have to do a lot of maintenance there, like painting the fences at the balcony, teaching some of their employees about what customer service relationship means especially the bartender who was at the bar Sunday 27th August evening. I went to the bar and after ti have something to drink this day, I waited for over 10 minutes to order and he didn't Come so I tried to go inside to order myself! This man soured on me and showed me with his left hand to take a seat outside and he will come to order when he can!! I was so impressed that someone like him with his cars tee is working in a so called five star hotel!
I've been to many hotels and I've never been treated like this in my life!
And also how can a five star hotel don't provide hair conditioner, with a dryer that doesn't dry your hair? Neither in the public swimming pools they use those kind of dryers!
Another question is why does someone stating in an hotel have to pay extra money to get access to the gym? It must be all included as it is always with every hotel with a gym!
The swimming pool was not bad and neither the breakfast! I ate some days at the restaurant and it was quite good and these are one of the reasons that I'm rating them with three stars!
