Very basic food. Uninteresting choices, limited taste, no effort at nice presentation, and, perhaps most disappointingly, quite expensive for what's on offer. Think overly-fried seafood, dry patatas bravas, some weird pork-on-a-bed-of-fries dish, etc.
Only real pluses were the striking interior (though we ate outside), the fine local wine (house white), and the friendly waiters - even if they didn't speak a word of English (which seems to be the norm in Córdoba).

Recommended by a local. Average food, below average prices, terrible service, but great decor and eye candy. Maybe only if you're dying for a cramped pub on the quick
