great hotel. buffet food was very good. rooms were spacious. toilets were nice.

Got woken up at 8am every morning by construction to the hotel, hammers power tools etc. The walls seem like theyre made of paper, could hear everyone talking and shouting in rooms around me. Would not recommend to anyone

Simple functional rooms. Free WiFi. Very nice staff. Nice pool on the roof with beautiful views of Barcelona and Tibidabo!

The best of this place is the Staff friendliness and the breakfast buffet.
Low end quality hotels, overpriced because of the crazy demand in Barcelona.
They have a privileged swimming pool that they close at 20, yes for Spain that's too early when sun falls at 22...
Some rooms are narrow and small with poor isolation. While writing this I was given a bigger one because I had to work and this one is perfect.
New room in the corner, with less noise. Enough size but small bathroom...

Tiny Room, tinier bathroom, inconvenient to everything, including Park Guell. Check-in was a tedious process, and although the clerk (who gave us a rather cool reception on an uncomfortably got day) seemed very busy, running hurriedly from place to place, he didn't seem to be accomplishing anything. (At one point he disappeared from our sight with our passports for about five minutes, which caused us no little concern!)
Anyway, the place is located eight minutes STRAIGHT UPHILL from the nearest metro station. It takes around thirty minutes walking and riding by metro to get to Plaza Catalunya. It is a *ten minute* cab ride to the entrance to Park Guell.
The tiny rooftop pool has great views, but it's only open from 1000-2000. Who hangs around their hotel at those hours? If you've come to visit Barcelona you won't be able to enjoy the pool.
