The rating as a three star hotel is pretty apt. The guy at the front desk is super helpful and accommodating.

Nice location in the city. So and so breakfast. Friendly staff. Pool on roof. Good wifi. Slow check in and check out. Lack of security when it comes to handling room keys and luggage. Noisy in the hallway during morning hours. Worn down electric installations in room.

I booked 2 rooms one a double and the other a triple for the children. I forgot to mention that it was for my children so when I arrived we were separated by a floor. ( A plus some would think). However I was a bit surprised they couldn't get us closer. The pool is tiny. Not child friendly. Great for anyone over 4.5 foot., that needs a dip. The mini bar was a delight for the 3 kids who clocked up 11.50 euro on opening all the snacks and non-alcoholic drinks while I was in the shower. ( A lock would be preferable, or there dad being in the same room or adjoining room). 8 Euro for breakfast. Considerately cheeper than mini bar.! Looks hopeful.

Hotel rooms are large and comfortable. The only minor downside is that all flooring is tiled so noises down the corridor can be quite audible. Hotel staff are very friendly and advised us of the best parts of Barcelona to visit and the most cost-effective method of getting around. Would stay there again!
