Good location away from the jammed tourist area. Main bus line and taxis were available right in front of hotel. Comfortable beds and pillows. Front desk staff was not the friendliest or welcoming. I witnessed much better treatment of guests who were there for business. So very disappointing since it is summer and they should expect many people there for vacation. While the lobby is impressive, the rooms need work. Our carpet was very dingy, the cabinet under the sink was broken off its hinge, the over-designed shower had glass on both sides so a person sitting at the desk or bed could see anyone taking a shower! And since the window was left open (by hotel staff?) to other windows in an alley, our room would often smell like smoke or we would hear the clagging of dishes in the kitchen.

The hotel was comfortable and the location was pretty decent. Loved the breakfast too. The guy at the front desk upgraded us to a room with a view, but the view was nothing special. Overall we had a pleasant experience in this hotel and we would definitely book it again.

Large, comfortable rooms. Excellent, bilingual front desk staff. Good air conditioning system and comfortable beds. Good, not great, exercise room. Good restaurant.
A Solid 4 star experience, although not in the best tourist District.
