First and foremost, allow me to extend my deepest and sincerest gratitude towards Deon de Jongh (Sensei) and his team who made this short tour such a fun, smooth and safe experience. This is one for the books.
"Ukudlala"
The word in itself explain my joyous journey with the owner/tourguide Deon (Sensei).
The english translation for this Zulu word means "fun", that is exactly what it was.
My girlfriend joined me in Cape Town, after arriving from a very long flight from Chengdu/China.
From the moment of pick-up, to transportation...everything went exact.
Deon's knowledge and experience took us through traffic and heading up to Franschhoek in no time.
The 3-day tour Deon gave us, gave us the "real feel".
Deon did not read from a manuscript, nor did he sound like a drone(Which most tourguides/operators sound like).
His extensive knowledge on culture, history and infrastructure is astounding, he gave us true insight accompanied with true life experiences of his own. Being South African, I was even embarrased to admit I didn't know of most of the important events he mentioned.
We didn't feel like tourists and most importantly...we were safe.
Cost effective?
YES!
Highly recommended?
YES!
