Food is marvellous, entertainment is spectacular, and setup is definitely decent/proper.
I highly recommend everyone to go and check Beefcakes out.

Actually our visit started very nice. We were very nice seated and told that the upcoming show will cost 80 Rand per person. Ok we thought, if its good its ok to pay for it. Than it seemed that we were getting a very nice waiter. He was very kind and was doing everything to get us satisfied. Fire st I went sceptic when he very quickly tried to sell us another drink and additional also managed with his friendly way to sell us a shot because we feeled well and didnt even actually thought about getting ripped of. After the really boring single drag show ( we saw waaaaay better shows on Mykonos, Gran Canaria and Hamburg where they are even FREE) Tom came again and tried in this loud atmosphere to sell us another shot. I understood that he wanted to sell us a real nice African shot that I first found very nice and care taking of him. I agreed. But he didn't say a word about the really high price of R325 each!!! And he wanted to sell one to me and to my boyfriend!!When he returned he asked us if we are ready for the body shot. Than i start understanding that the shot will be taken from his body which was already topfree. But still I wasnt aware of the high price. I still thought that it was a nice thing of him because he enjoyed the time with us. Luckily my boyfriend refused because he didnt liked it and was actually upset i was doing this. But this was all happening when everything already was prepared and everybody was already looking and it would have been a absolute blame to me if i would refuse! So I did the body shot and was really shocked the first time by the high price of R325 on the bill for the body shot. My boyfriend even told him that it wasn't nice of him not telling us the high price. The only answer from him was: You can see it in the menu card. YES I NOW IT THAT I CAN FIND IT THERE! AT THAT TIME I UNFORTUNATELY TRUSTED HIM THAT HE REALLY SUGGESTS US SOMETHING NICE AND NOT THE HIGHEST PRICED THING IN THE MENU!!!! This is what I absolutely call dishonest and not transparent service! Letting the guest assume that he is really taken care of and than trying with really mean tricks to get the most money out of the customer is absolutely and totally Rip Off!!! Sorry I really have no other description for that! Also the service fee is Rip Off! I mean the waiters can be so nice so why are the customers not allowed to tip them if it is really deserved?? I guess they would get much more... we are not even a week in Cape Town and until now not had one problem with any other Bar/Café/Restaurant. Youre the first absolute Rip Of Bar! So please people absolute take care of them! The waiters are only beautiful on the outside to blind you! The Bill will come in the end!

Our night here was above and beyond! On arrival we knew it would be a long shot on getting a table but we were politely shown an outside seating area and immediately assigned a waiter. Drinks were speedy and Andrew (our amazing waiter) went all out, from food and drink suggestions and up selling to eventually finding us an awesome table inside once things died down. The staff and hands on manager of the night were just too delightful and so sincere in their sevice. I can't wait for my next visit! Thank you

2015 winner of best burger in cape town. Feel it may have been dethroned by more worthy burger competitors of late. Still worth a visit on one of their crazy nights.
