I have spend two nights here and I can just say fantastic. AnaMaria is a very good host and her garden looks very nice. She has all kind of plants in her garden and fruit. I used the bike for a ride around the lake what took me half an hour. My sincere recommendation

Let's start with the property first.
Location is fantastic.... Just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Bled and the lake itself, yet in a very laid back street which is only traversed by the people living in it, which means it is truly quiet and peaceful.
It is a charming two level wooden building which is over a hundred years old, yet is in excellent condition, with a beautiful will manicured garden and onsite free parking space. It is furnishings are also very varied... From dated antiques to modern - our room even had a beautiful genuine tapestry on the wall. And books everywhere!
More importantly, the bathroom is very well equipped, with plenty of hot water and high pressure, as well as a large shower cubicle and a separate bath.
The bedroom has a truly fantastic balcony, with a pair of chairs and a small table, from where you can sit and enjoy the remarkable view, with Bled Castle in the distance. Breakfast is good too with a variety of home made fayre, jams and honey etc.
But most of all, the whole experience is made truly outstanding by the host - Ana Marija. She is a proud and truly well versed ambassador of her country and anything Slovenian.... Be it history, geography, music, traditions or travel advice. Breakfast became a learning experience for all things Slovenian and beyond. She transformed our stay into a truly memorable, inspiring and happy experience. Thank you for everything Ana Marija!
