Shopping The shopping in St. Petersburg has never been better and you can usually find almost everything that you could possible need simply along the Nevsky Prospekt. There are also countless kiosks, which line the underground stretch between the Nevsky Prospekt and the Sadovaya Ulitsa, where cheap CDs and DVDs are sold. <br /> Many traditional Russian handicrafts can be purchased all over the city, such as the famous stacking Russian dolls (matryoshka), and either credit cards or Russian rubles are accepted - strictly no other currencies.
