Stayed in Heliopark for three nights. It's located in the center of Penza. The hotel has wonderful personal, great rooms, awesome saunas and swimming pool. The breakfast has a lot of choices to eat.

Advantages:
The location is superb - right in the heart of the city close to the main sights. The restaurant where we had breakfast is amazing. The menu is rich and can suit even the most demanding people. By the way we had to check out early before the breakfast time and the day before we left we asked the reception manager to prepare us lunch packages. We didn't expect the restaurant to provide us with such fascinating snacks (salmon, ham, salami and cheese, an apple, a hard-boiled egg, a muffin with creme, apple juice and a bottle of water). 1-hour spa treatment was included in our room rate and we enjoyed both Finnish and Turkish sauna, swimming pool and tropical shower. The staff are friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable and we liked that the number of hangers in the wardrobe was enough to place our clothes. The rooms were quite. The ironing room was located on the floor we lived (floor 7). Thera also coolers on the floor. We'll definitely come back when we visit Penza next time.
Disadvantages:
The hotel has a summer roof terrace and on arrival we decided to have some snacks there. However, the restaurant manager told us that they could open the terrace for us only if we were going to spend at least RUB 5,500. Nevertheless, in all the guestbooks and signs hanging in the hotel no such information is indicated.
On the hotel web-site it is stated that the hotel can provide you with a city tour guide. Moreover, a list of excursions and prices are pointed out on the web-site. However, when we contacted the reception manager we were told that it was a mistake. It seems strange then? Why is information still on the web-site?

Excellent location at the heart of the city in a 5 minutes distance walk from the main pedestrian street and 2 minutes walk from the main square. Has its own parking, not big for 20 cars. New room with a good workin zone, big bathroom, a balcony. Nice breakfast. A little bit slow chek in. For me it's the best hotel at Penza because I go there for 7 years and visited most of them.
