Awesome spot in Timişoara to spend an evening after a bike ride around town. A bit far to get to on foot, but this is the perfect spot to end a ride with a beer or coffee. Museum is awesome if you like history and vintage things, all old memorabilia from Romania life. And the outside terrace has hammocks! Perfect for spring to autumn.

Interesting little museum in the basement of a bar. Lots of objects and memorabilia from the Communist period, worth a check.

If you lived under the communism go there to see your childhood bike or rollerskates, if yod didn't go to check how everyday communism really was.

A lovely cafe on the upper floor, with some really good coffee, a selection of drinks, beers and ciders for a fair price.

The fun comes downstairs though, where the owners managed to collect a massive amount of household items from the communist times. Each room - be it the kitchen, the study, a bedroom - is filled with respective equipment, old radios, TVs, an old fridge, a collection of old bottles - it's worth seeing.
The museum is not funded by the state in any way, so even if the admission is free, it's recommended to leave a leu or two as a token of gratitude.
