The food was delicious, but we had to wait a lot for it (somewhere around an hour). It would have been all right if the waiter would have warned us about it, but it wasn't the case. I also did not like the surroundings. But the food deserved 5 stars, so I thought to rate it 4 stars per total.

The room had a strong smell of cigarettes and was quite dirty. Also the hotel has a conference hall which they use for weddings and from where the music cand be heard very loud through the entire hotel making it impossible to sleep untill 5 am when the wedding ended. The lobby personel was bored and unpolite each day out of the two I stayed there. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Look elsewhere for a decent stay in Timisoara.

I know only the restaurant part of Trio since I never been a customer for the hotel part. The restaurant is quite decent, with plenty of options to choose from and friendly services. If you ask for something extra you're not going to get refused. This is popular for lunches and during the working days you can ask for the menu of the day, which is quite cheap. As a desert you should try the "papanașii cu afine".
