Interesting hotel as it is from another era! When staying there it reminded me of visiting Hungary in 1965. Food and rooms seemed to be from another another time. I recommend this hotel just for that reason. The only difference is that the staff are relatively responsive to ones needs. This was in contrast to the 60s when they were treating visitors as a nuisance!
Yes, the views are great from all the rooms. I recommend a stay at this hotel so you can pretend that it is back to the 70s, the time when the hotel was built. Where else can you visit such a place?

Lovely old hotel situated in park on hillside above the city with superb views 360. Breakfast was delicious and staff as expected welcoming and helpful.

The hotel refused to serve food in their restaurant for hotel guests because of a larger group that had booked a few of the tables. This was on our first night, with no prior notice, despite us booking months in advance. I would avoid as clearly the hotel does not value its clients.

Fabulous view of Cluj from above. Fair room for the three stars of the hotel, real good breakfast included. Offers wellness services too, I did not try those.
