You could easily go to Cismigiu park, which is definitely the better idea. This one is rather for the sake of having a green spot between blocks.

Right now with the subway station in work for a couple of years, there is nothing to see here.

The park is now destroyed by the construction of a metro station, which is years late according to the planned schedule. The public transportation hub nearby has now difficult access, one has to walk at least two hundred meters to the commuting bus lines.
The location is now well known for the stupidity of the construction company which caused a land slide during their work, compromising some houses near by.
The stupidity is really impressive, because the park was built in the 1930' over a swamp and a dump next to the river Dambovita (which crosses Bucharest), dried out but with unstable soil.
