First of all: if you go there with kids you'll be fine and have fun! But if your looking for some serious information about the great history of portugal its not worth the money. The given information is fluffy most times. Its interactive though. Meaning you can read infos mainly on touch screens from the first gen which react slow and sometimes even incorrect. In Addition the Text you want to read starts where the last reader has ended. The WoD got nice ideas like the audio guided boat Tour through history\cultures. But even there sometimes the guide doesnt fit to the position of the boat. Some information are given without any background like the year and names of European nobility are mentioned without any explanation where they come from and why they are important. On top of that during the hole exhibtion the german as well as the english translation is lacking.
To recall: fine with kids, very Bad for serious knowledge gaining.

We loved this place. It doesn't take long time to see all of it but it is a museum with a boat ride. Such a great time!

It's an interesting subject for a museum. There's a lot to learn. The boat part was really well made and fun. The staff were most helpful. I really recommend it.
For 14e per adult it's a bit expensive. There's a lot of information but it's a lot to ingest in a small space. There's a lot of interactive screens and though it might be fun for kids it can be a bit difficult to navigate at times.

Maybe good if you're visiting with children. Interactive. But it's not where you're going to go if you want to really understand in detail about Portuguese history of the explorers. Not a top level attraction and the €14 is a bit expensive for adults. Quite commercial.

The best "museum" in Porto. You learn a bit about Portuguese discoveries all over the world while you are on a little boat. Visually very attractive.
