Yup, its all that and a bag of chips. A really well laid out location with a complete tour package. they have some some wonderful ports to try and both red and white and most importantly the right staff to help guide you. The grounds are great for relaxing and really taking in the view of the town and enjoying the moment. Go and you will have no regrets about it.

A healthy climb up the hill to get to Taylor's, but for me well worth it. Their is no need to worry about getting the timing of your tour right because it is self-guided. This allows you to learn as much or as little about port production as you like. It also allows you to wander about at your own speed. At the end of the tour you get to sample 2 port wines in their shop/restaurant. The garden here is very pretty with chickens and pea-hens wandering about and you also get a great view of the Four and the Ribeira quarter of Porto

Professional set up and everything you need to know apart making port and history of the brand. The venue is impressive. It's a bit too heavy on the marketing and the audio guide can't go two sentences without espousing the brand, though this place is not unique in this. Taste of 2 ports included in the tour and grounds are lovely. It's up a hill so no need to worry about the crowds :)

For me this is the most well known port brand so I was excited to get the chance to see and understand how port is made. It's located near the top of the hill over the river it's has spectacular views from the restaurant deck.
Once you arrive you'll get a electronic tour guide phone. This was really convenient as there was no waiting around and you can take your own time to explore and take some cool photos. Even though this is a working area they have set it out like a museum with movies and interactive displays. Of all the port cellars I visited this was the best by far. At the end of the tour you make your way to the tasting room were you are given a white and red port to taste in the flowered gardens surrounded by peacocks.
For €12 this is not to be missed a special experience that you will only find in Porto.

LOVE this place. Extremely helpful staff and you can head to the tasting garden even if you haven't done the tour. 3 ports starting at 12 euros and they are delicious. You can sit outside in the secret garden which is surrounded by vines and greenery. Very beautiful. There are a few peacocks running around too! I loved this place and would go back!!
