Way too expensive (10EUR) for such an un-planted garden without any highlights. Do yourself a favor and go to any other botanic garden in Funchal.

About obe half of the garden, the area around the Tea House, is still worth visiting for 20-30 minutes, the other part has seen better care. Monte Garden, reachable by the Cable Car is more expensive, but much larger and is neatly decorated and there are awesome constellations of a huge dicersuty of plants.

I have to say, nice garden, with beuaty that by years disappeared..if you are not garden fun, to visit only jardim botanico is more valuable and you save ten euros(!!! The ticket for jardim botanico is 12€!!) per person for something more interesting.
